Why We Built This Site
Missouri offers several forms of public access, yet no single office keeps every part of a criminal history. Police agencies hold the reports they create. Jackson County Corrections publishes limited current-custody data, while the 16th Circuit holds filed charges and dispositions. The Missouri State Highway Patrol runs MACHS and the central repository. State corrections and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry add different records. We arrange the verified request steps, fees, contacts, and official portals by record type.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to a Missouri court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot issue certified court papers, police reports, or repository records
- We cannot submit an expungement petition or Sunshine Law request for a visitor
- We cannot run an official background check or retrieve a private record
- We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, or judgment as legal advice
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, address, or procedure
Only the office that maintains a record, such as the police agency, 16th Circuit, or Missouri State Highway Patrol, can issue its official copy.
